But if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without fear, for he works the work of the Lord, even as I do.

And we have sent with them our brother whom we have often proved earnest in many things, but now much more earnest by the great confidence which I have in you. If anyone inquires of Titus, he is my partner and fellow-worker for you, or of our brothers, they are the messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ. Therefore show them a proof of your love and of our boasting toward you in the presence of the churches.

But when Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was to be blamed.

But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy shortly to you, so that I also may be of good comfort when I know your state.

And some days afterward, Paul said to Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brothers in every city where we have announced the Word of the Lord, to see how they are holding to it. And Barnabas determined to take with them John, he being called Mark. But Paul thought it well not to take that one with them, he having withdrawn from them from Pamphylia, and did not go with them to the work.read more.
Then there was sharp feeling, so as to separate them from each other. And taking Mark, Barnabas sailed to Cyprus. But choosing Silas, Paul went out, being commended by the brothers to the grace of God, passing through Syria and Cilicia, making the churches strong.

After these things were ended, passing through Macedonia and Achaia, Paul purposed in the spirit to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have come there, I must also see Rome.

But now, having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come to you, whenever I may go into Spain, I will come to you. For in traveling through I hope to see you, and to be set forward there by you, if first I may be filled of you in part. But now I am going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints.read more.
For it has pleased those of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints in Jerusalem. Truly it has pleased them, and they are their debtors. For if the nations have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in fleshly things. And in this confidence I intended to come to you before, so that you might have a second benefit, and to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia to you, and to be brought on my way toward Judea by you.

But I determined this within myself, that I would not come to you again in grief.

Behold, a third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not burden you, for I do not seek your things, but you. For the children ought not to lay up treasure for the parents, but the parents for the children.

For, my brothers, you yourselves know our coming in to you, that it was not in vain.

When I send Artemas to you, or Tychicus, hasten to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have determined to winter there.

And the brothers from there hearing of us, they came to meet us as far as the market-place of Appius, and Three Taverns. Seeing them, thanking God, Paul took courage.

Yet I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow-worker, and fellow-soldier, but your messenger and he who ministered to my wants.

May the Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chain. But when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently and found me.

Make haste to come to me quickly. For Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and he has departed to Thessalonica. Crescens went to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. Only Luke is with me. Take Mark and bring him with you, for he is profitable to me for the ministry.read more.
And I sent Tychicus to Ephesus. When you come, bring the cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments.

Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, those who suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

Do not be forgetful of hospitality, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
