It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man, taking, cast into his own garden; and it grew, and became a tree; and the birds of the heaven lodged in its branches." And again He said, "To what shall I liken the Kingdom of God? It is like leaven which a woman, taking, hid in three measures of meal until the whole was leavened." And He was journeying through the cities and villages, teaching, and making His way to Jerusalem. And a certain one said, "Are there few who are saved?" And He said to them, "Strive to enter in through the narrow door; because many, I say to you, will seek to enter in, and will not be able. In that very hour, there came certain Pharisees, saying to Him, "Go out, and journey hence; because Herod is wishing to kill Thee." And He said to them, "Going your way, tell this fox, 'Behold, I cast out demons, and perfect cures, to-day and to-morrow; and on the third day I am made perfect. But yet I must go on My way to-day, and to-morrow, and the following day; because it is not possible that a prophet perish outside of Jerusalem!' O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that kills the prophets, and stones those sent to her; how often I wished to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her own brood under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is abandoned to you! But I say to you, ye shall in no wise see Me, until ye shall say, 'Blessed is He Who is coming in the name of the Lord!'"
