"And to the angel of the assembly in Laodicea write these things," saith the Amen, the Faithful and the True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous, therefore, and repent. "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if anyone hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me. He that overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with Me in My throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with My Father in His throne.

And, when He took the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, having, each, a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sing a new song, saying, "Worthy art Thou to take the book, and to open its seals; because Thou wast slain, and didst redeem to God, by Thy blood, some of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation; and didst make them, to our God, a Kingdom and priests, and they reign on the earth."
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them; and judgment was given to them; and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus, and because of the word of God; and such as worshiped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
