These, therefore, came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, "Sir, we want to see Jesus."

and they found him, and told him, "Everyone is looking for you."

When it was day, he departed and went into an uninhabited place, and the crowds looked for him, and came to him, and held on to him, so that he would not go away from them.

He was trying to see who Jesus was, and could not because of the crowd, because he was short.

When the crowd therefore saw that Jesus was not there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats, and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.



The apostles, when they had returned, told him what things they had done. He took them, and withdrew apart to a city called Bethsaida.

So they went away in the boat to an isolated place by themselves.


When it was day, he departed and went into an uninhabited place, and the crowds looked for him, and came to him, and held on to him, so that he would not go away from them.

They said, "The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please let us go three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD, our God, lest he fall on us with pestilence, or with the sword."


And he went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people. And the report about him went out into all Syria, and they brought to him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and torments, possessed with demons, epileptics, and paralytics; and he healed them. And great crowds from Galilee, and Decapolis, and Jerusalem, and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan followed him.

And early in the morning, while it was still dark, he rose up and went out, and departed into a deserted place, and prayed there. And Simon and those who were with him followed after him; and they found him, and told him, "Everyone is looking for you." read more.
And he said to them, "Let us go somewhere else into the next towns, that I may proclaim there also, because I came out for this reason." And he went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, preaching and casting out demons.

When it was day, he departed and went into an uninhabited place, and the crowds looked for him, and came to him, and held on to him, so that he would not go away from them. But he said to them, "I must proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God to the other cities also. For this reason I have been sent." And he was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.
