Blindness » Healed
Then they came to Jericho. And as He was leaving Jericho, with His disciples and a great crowd, Timeus' son, Bartimeus, a blind beggar, was sitting on the roadside.
Then they came to Bethsaida. And they brought a blind man to Him and begged Him to touch him.
As Jesus was passing along from there, two blind men followed Him, shouting, "Do pity us, O Son of David!"
At that time some people brought to Him a man under the power of demons, who was blind and dumb, and He cured him, so that the dumb man could talk and see.
And two blind men sitting by the roadside heard that Jesus was passing and cried out, "Do pity us, Lord, you Son of David!"
Then blind and crippled people came to Him, and He cured them.
At that very hour He cured many people of diseases and scourges and evil spirits, and graciously granted sight to many blind persons.
As He passed along, He saw a man who had been blind from his birth.

and great crowds came up to Him bringing with them the lame, the crippled, the blind, the deaf, and many others. They laid them at His feet, and He cured them,
At that very hour He cured many people of diseases and scourges and evil spirits, and graciously granted sight to many blind persons.
He came to Jesus one night and said to Him, "Teacher, we know that you have come from God, for no one can perform the wonder-works that you are doing, unless God is with him."
So when He got out of the boat and saw a great crowd, His heart was moved with pity for them, and He cured their sick people.
Then He went all over Galilee, as He continued teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and curing any disease or malady among the people. So the news about Him spread all over Syria, and people brought to Him all who were sick with various diseases, especially those who were suffering with torturing diseases; and he cured them.
And He cured many who were sick with various diseases, and drove out many demons, and would not let the demons speak a word, because they knew who He was.
Now while He was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many people, because they saw the wonder-works which He was performing, trusted in Him as the Christ.
Then He came down with them and took His stand on a level place, where there was a great throng of His disciples and a vast crowd of people from all over Judea and from Jerusalem and the seacoast district of Tyre and Sidon, who had come to hear Him and to be cured of their diseases. Even those who were troubled by foul spirits were being cured. So all the people were trying to touch Him, because power continued to go forth from Him and to cure them all.

Now when John in prison heard of the doings of the Christ, he sent this message by his disciples: "Are you the One who was to come, or should we keep on looking for a different one?" And Jesus answered them, "Go and tell John what you hear and see: read more.

If not, why did you go out there? To see a prophet? This is the man of whom the Scripture says, "'Attention! I am sending my messenger on before you; He will prepare the road ahead of you.' "I solemnly say to you, of all men born of women no one greater than John the Baptist has ever appeared; and yet the one who is least important in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. And from the days of John the Baptist until the present moment the kingdom of heaven has been continuously taken by storm, and those who take it by storm are seizing it as a precious prize. For up to the days of John all the prophets, and even the law, prophesied about it, and if you are willing to accept it, John himself is the Elijah who was to come. Let him who has ears listen! "But to what can I compare the leaders of this age? They are like little children sitting in the market places and calling to their fellows in the game, "'We played the wedding march for you, but you did not dance. We sang the funeral dirge, but you did not beat your breasts.' For John came neither eating nor drinking with others, and yet they said, 'He has a demon.' The Son of Man came eating and drinking with others, and they say, 'Just look at Him! A glutton and a wine-drinker, a chum of tax-collectors and notorious sinners!' And yet wisdom is vindicated by her doings!"

This is the man of whom the Scripture says: "'Attention! I send my messenger on before you. He will prepare the road ahead of you.' "I tell you, of all men born of women there is not one greater than John; and yet the one who is of least importance in the kingdom of God is greater than he. And all the people, even the tax-collectors, when they heard him, vindicated the righteous requirements of God by submitting to John's baptism, but the Pharisees and experts in the law thwarted God's purpose for themselves by refusing to be baptized by him. So to what can I compare the men of this age, and what are they like? They are like little children sitting in the market-place and calling to their fellows in the game: "'We played the wedding march for you, but you did not dance. We sang the funeral dirge, but you did not mourn.' "For John the Baptist came eating no bread and drinking no wine, and yet you say, 'He has a demon!' The Son of Man has come eating and drinking with others, and yet you say, 'Just look at Him! A glutton and a wine-drinker, an intimate friend of tax-collectors and notorious sinners!' But wisdom is vindicated by all who are truly wise."
