Now [as] they were gathering in Galilee, Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised." And they were extremely distressed.
And from there they went out [and] passed through Galilee. And he did not want anyone to know, for he was teaching his disciples and was telling them, "The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill him. And [when he] is killed, after three days he will rise." But they did not understand the statement, and they were afraid to ask him.
And they were all astounded at the impressiveness of God. "{You take these words to heart}, for the Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men." But they did not understand this statement, and it was concealed from them so that they could not understand it. And they were afraid to ask him about this statement.
