Baptism » John's
beginning from his baptism by John, until the day in which he was taken up from us, must there be chosen with us a witness of his resurrection, even one of these.
Then went out to him Jerusalem and all Judea, and all the regions about Jordan, and were baptized by him in Jordan, on making confession of their sins. And I did not know him: but he that sent me baptising with water, he said to me, Upon whomsoever thou shalt see the Spirit descending as a dove, and resting upon him, that is he who baptiseth with the Holy Ghost.
