And the disciples seeing, were astonished, saying, How did the fig-tree immediately wither away? And Jesus responding said to them, Truly I say unto you, if you may have faith, and doubt not, not only shall you do that of the fig-tree, but you shall say to this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea, and it will be done. All things whatsoever you may ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.
And the disciples seeing, were astonished, saying, How did the fig-tree immediately wither away? And Jesus responding said to them, Truly I say unto you, if you may have faith, and doubt not, not only shall you do that of the fig-tree, but you shall say to this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea, and it will be done. And on the morrow, they going out from Bethany, He was hungry. And seeing a fig-tree at a distance, having leaves, He came, if perchance He shall find something on it: and having come to it, He found nothing except leaves; for it was not the time of the figs. And responding He said to it, Let no one ever eat fruit from thee. And His disciples heard Him.
And going along in the morning, they saw the fig-tree utterly withered from the roots. And Peter remembering says to Him, Master, behold, the fig-tree which thou didst execrate is withered away. And Jesus responding says to them, Have God's faith. read more.
