For they all did cast in of their abundance: but she of her penury did cast in all that she had, even her whole living.

If any man be willing to do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. He that speaketh of himself, seeketh his own glory; but he that seekth the glory of him that sent him, the same is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him. Did not Moses give you the law? Yet none of you keepeth the law. Why seek ye to kill me? The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil. Who seeketh to kill thee? Jesus answered and said to them, I did one work, and ye all marvel at it. Moses gave you circumcision, (not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers) and ye circumcise a man on the sabbath. If a man receive circumcision on the sabbath, that the law of Moses may not be broken: Are ye angry at me, because I intirely healed a man on the sabbath? Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment. Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he whom they seek to kill? And lo he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing to him. Do the rulers know indeed, that this is the Christ? Howbeit, we know this man, whence he is: but when Christ cometh, none knoweth whence he is. Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Do ye both know me, and know whence I am? And yet I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.

My Father, who gave them me, is greater than all; and none shall pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one. Then the Jews again took up stones to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, We stone thee not for a good work, but for blasphemy, and because thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, ye are gods? If he call them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the scripture cannot be broken) Say ye of him whom God hath sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest, because I said, I am the Son of God? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, tho' ye believe not me, believe the works; that ye may know and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
