And Jesus said, "Who touched me?" When all denied it, Peter said, "Master, the multitudes surround you and press upon you!"
And many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And he preached the word to them.
For he had healed many, so that all who had diseases pressed upon him to touch him.
So Jesus went with him. And a great crowd followed him and thronged around him.
Now as the people pressed around him to hear the word of God, he was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret.
Then his mother and his brothers came to him, but they could not reach him because of the crowd.

And getting into a boat, he crossed over and came to his own city. And behold, they brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise and walk'? When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

And when they could not get near him because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above him; and when they had broken through, they let down the pallet on which the paralytic was lying. He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?"
