I will raise them up a prophet from among their brothers, like you; and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.
The crowds said, "This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee."
When they sought to seize him, they feared the crowds, because they considered him to be a prophet.

King Herod heard this, for his name had become known, and he said, "John the Baptist has risen from the dead, and therefore these powers are at work in him." But others said, "He is Elijah."
