Moreover you shall not lie carnally with your neighbor's wife, to defile yourself with her.
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.
And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.
And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand: There is nothing from outside a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, bronze vessels, and of tables. read more.

For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such things you do. And he said unto them, Full well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition. And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elijah must first come?

Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
