And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus. When Jesus heard of it, he departed from there by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

And immediately he made his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people. And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.

Then came Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and said unto the disciples, Sit you here, while I go and pray yonder.

And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he said to his disciples, Sit here, while I shall pray.

And he came out, and went, as was his custom, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him. And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that you enter not into temptation. And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,read more.

And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
