And Jesus having departed thence, came to the Sea of Galilee; and having gone up into the mountain, He was sitting there. And many multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, the blind, the deaf, the maimed, and many others, and laid them down at the feet of Jesus; and He healed them: so that the multitudes were astonished, seeing the dumb speaking, the maimed whole, the lame walking about, and the blind seeing: and they glorified the God of Israel.

And having again come out from Tyre and Sidon, He came to the Sea of Galilee, amid the coasts of Decapolis. And they bring Him a deaf man, speaking with difficulty; and intreat Him that He may lay His hand on him. And taking him from the crowd privately, He put His fingers in his ears, and having spat, He touched his tongue; read more.
and looking up to heaven, he groaned, and says to him, Ephphatha, which is, Be thou opened. And immediately his ears were opened, and the bond of his tongue loosed, and he continued to speak distinctly. And He charged them that they should tell no one: and the more He charged them, the more abundantly they proclaimed it. And were astonished exceedingly, saying, He has done all things well: He makes the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
