In that it is said, This day if you hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation: for who were those, having heard, who were hardened? yea, were they not all those having come out of Egypt under Moses? And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha; and none of them were cleansed except Naaman the Syrian. And all in the synagogue, hearing these things, were filled with wrath. And rising up, they cast Him out of the city, and were leading Him to the brink of the mountain on which their city was built, to hurl Him down; and He having passed through the midst of them went away.
