Christ » Love to » Man of sorrows
When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in the spirit, and testified saying, "Verily, verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me."
He was despised and cast out of men's company; and one that had suffered sorrow, and had experience of infirmity. And we were as one that had hid his face from him.
and looked up to heaven and sighted, and said unto him, "Ephphatha," that is to say, "Be opened."
and he sighed in his spirit and said, "Why doth this generation seek a sign? Verily I say unto you, there shall no sign be given unto this generation."
And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept on it,
When Jesus saw her weep, and the Jews also weep, which came with her; He groaned in the spirit, and was troubled in himself,
And Jesus wept.
"Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say, 'Father deliver me from this hour?' But therefore came I unto this hour.

Then Jesus went away from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee, and went up in to a mountain, and sat down there. And much people came unto him, having with them halt, blind, dumb, maimed, and other many: and cast them down at Jesus' feet. And he healed them, insomuch that the people wondered, to see the dumb speak, the maimed whole; and the halt to go, the blind to see. And they glorified the God of Israel.
And he departed again from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, and came unto the sea of Galilee through the midst of the coasts of the ten cities. And they brought unto him one that was deaf, and stammered in his speech, and prayed him to lay his hand upon him. And he took him aside from the people, and put his fingers in his ears, and did spit, and touched his tongue, read more.
and looked up to heaven and sighted, and said unto him, "Ephphatha," that is to say, "Be opened." And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain. And he commanded them that they should tell no man. But the more he forbade them, so much the more a great deal they published it. And were beyond measure astonished, saying, "He hath done all things well, and hath made both the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak."
