And as they were returning in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of man is about to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill him, and on the third day he shall be raised; and they were grieved exceedingly.
And departing thence, he passed through Galilee, and desired that no one should know him, for he taught his disciples, and said to them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him. And when he is killed, on the third day he shall rise again. And they understood not the word, and were afraid to ask him.
And they were all astonished at the majesty of God. And while all wondered at all things which he did, he said to his disciples, Commit these words to your ears; for the Son of man is about to be delivered into the hands of men. But they understood not this saying; and it was concealed from them, that they might not perceive it; and they feared to ask him concerning this saying.
