Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in his name, after seeing his signs which he did.



But Jesus, perceiving that, withdrew from there. Many followed him, and he healed them all, and commanded them that they should not make him known: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, read more.
"Look, my servant whom I have chosen; my beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit on him. And he will proclaim justice to the nations. He will not strive, nor shout; neither will anyone hear his voice in the streets. He won't break a bruised reed. And he won't put out a smoldering wick, until he leads justice to victory. And in his name, the nations will hope."

And Jesus withdrew to the sea with his disciples, and a great crowd followed from Galilee, and from Judea, and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and beyond the Jordan, and those from around Tyre and Sidon. For he had healed many, so that as many as had diseases pressed on him that they might touch him. And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, fell down before him, and shouted, saying, "You are the Son of God." And he sternly warned them that they should not make him known.
