Then saith he to the man, Stretch out thy hand; and he stretched it out, and it was restored, sound as the other. Then the Pharisees went out, and held a consultation against him, how they might make away with him.

Now the chief priests and elders and the whole sanhedrim, sought false witness against Jesus, that they might put him to death; and found none: and though many false witnesses came, they found it not [sufficient]. But at the last two false witnesses stepping forth, said, This fellow said, I am able to pull down the temple of God, and to build it up in three days.

And some began to spit upon him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say to him, Prophesy: and the servants slapped him on the face with their hands.
