And he commanded the wind to go down and there was a great calm.
Jesus stood by the Lake of Gennesaret as the crowds pressed in upon him in order to hear the word of God. He saw two boats docked by the shore. The fishermen had gone away from them and were washing their nets. He boarded one of the boats. It was Simon's boat. He asked him to put out a little from the land. He and all who were with him were amazed at the catch of fish.
