Lying/lies » Who is a liar
And this is the message that we have heard from him and declare to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and do not the truth.
Every word of God is tried. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Add thou not to his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
A faithful witness will not lie, but a FALSE witness utters lies.

And if by these things ye will not be reformed to me, but will walk contrary to me, then I also will walk contrary to you, and I will smite you, even I, seven times for your sins. And I will bring a sword upon you that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant, and ye shall be gathered together within your cities.
