then they met Moses and Aaron standing in their way as they came out from Pharaoh, and said unto them, "The LORD look unto you and judge! For ye have made the savour of us stink in the sight of Pharaoh and of his servants, and have put a sword into their hands to slay us."
And the whole multitude of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness, and said unto them, "Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and ate bread our bellies' full; for ye have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole multitude for hunger." and what he did unto Dathan and Abiram the sons of Eliab the son of Reuben, how the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them with their households and their tents and all their substance that was in their possession, in the midst of Israel.
And the sons of Eliab were Nemuel, Dathan and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, councilors in the congregation, which strove against Moses and Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD.
