These were the gifts from Ahira, son of Enan. These were the gifts from the leaders of Israel for the dedication of the altar when it was anointed: twelve silver plates, twelve silver bowls, and twelve gold dishes. Each silver plate weighed three and one quarter pounds, and each bowl weighed one and three quarter pounds. Together all the silver dishes weighed sixty pounds using the standard weight of the holy place.
