"What man of you, having a hundred sheep, and losing one of them, does not leave behind the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after the lost one, until he finds it? And, finding it, he places it upon his shoulders, rejoicing: and, coming to his house, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying, Rejoice with me, because I found my sheep, which was lost. read more.
I say to you, that so there will be joy in Heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety-nine righteous men who have no need of repentance.

If a hundred sheep belong to a certain man, and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety and nine on the mountains, and, going, seek the straying one?
