LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness. According to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me. For I have kept the ways of LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God. For all his ordinances were before me. And as for his statutes, I did not depart from them. read more.
I was also perfect toward him, and I kept myself from my iniquity. Therefore LORD has recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to my cleanness in his eyesight. With the merciful thou will show thyself merciful. With the perfect man thou will show thyself perfect. With the pure thou will show thyself pure. And with the perverse thou will show thyself contrary.

He frustrates the devices of the crafty so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise. He takes the wise in their own craftiness, and the counsel of the cunning is carried headlong. They meet with darkness in the daytime, and grope at noonday as in the night.

For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walks upon the toils. A trap shall take [him] by the heel. A snare shall lay hold on him. A noose is hid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.

He who causes the upright to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit. But the perfect shall inherit good.

The nations are sunk down in the pit that they made. In the net which they hid, their own foot is taken.

He who digs a pit shall fall into it, and he who breaks through a wall, a serpent shall bite him.
