The goodness of the lord » The lord being good
Teach me to do your will; for you are my God: your Spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in him.
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.
For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; and abundant in mercy unto all them that call upon you.
The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endures forever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings shall you trust: his truth shall be your shield and buckler.
I will praise you, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto you among the nations. For your mercy is great above the heavens: and your truth reaches unto the clouds.
For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endures forever. Praise you the LORD.
