Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loves is born of God, and knows God. He that loves not knows not God; for God is love.
And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love; and he that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him.
By this perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling fragrance.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
And hope makes not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who is given unto us.
Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
The LORD has appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn you.
You in your mercy have led forth the people whom you have redeemed: you have guided them in your strength unto your holy habitation.
And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
O LORD God, turn not away the face of your anointed: remember the mercies of David your servant.
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him.
[To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.] Have mercy upon me, O God, according to your lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of your tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Whoever is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.
For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, says the LORD that has mercy on you.
I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
And I will betroth you unto me forever; yea, I will betroth you unto me in righteousness, and in justice, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creation, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen.
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,
For whom the Lord loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives.

Woe unto you, Pharisees! for you love the best seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
Who have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Love suffers long, and is kind; love envies not; love vaunts not itself, is not puffed up, Does not behave itself rudely, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, keeps no record of evil; Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;read more.
Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Now the end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto sincere love of the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently:
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has to do with punishment. He that fears is not made perfect in love.
But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his heart of compassion from him, how dwells the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
But if your brother is grieved with your food, you no longer walk in love. Destroy not him with your food, for whom Christ died.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not burdensome.
And now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.
For this, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, You shall not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, namely, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Love works no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love.
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.
And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
He that loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him.
