For, hades, cannot praise thee Nor, death, celebrate thee, - They who go down to the pit cannot wait for thy faithfulness.

Upon me, O God, are thy vows, I will pay back praises unto thee.


Yahweh, was willing to save me, - Therefore, on my stringed instruments, will we play - All the days of our life By the house of Yahweh.

O God, thou hast taught me from my youthful days, And, hitherto, have I been wont to tell of thy wonders;


Give ear O ye heavens and I will speak, And let the earth hear the sayings of my mouth: Let my teaching drop as the rain, Let my speech distil as the dew, - As copious rains on tender grass, As myriad drops on seeding plants.
