The precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart: The commandment of Jehovah is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever: The ordinances of Jehovah are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the droppings of the honeycomb.
Oh how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day.
How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
My soul hath observed thy testimonies; And I love them exceedingly.

And I will delight myself in thy commandments, Which I have loved.
The law of thy mouth is better unto me Than thousands of gold and silver.
Thy word is very pure; Therefore thy servant loveth it.

He that is slow to anger is of great understanding; But he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
He that refuseth correction despiseth his own soul; But he that hearkeneth to reproof getteth understanding.
The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all they that do his commandments : His praise endureth for ever.
Smite a scoffer, and the simple will learn prudence; And reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
My son, if thou wilt receive my words, And lay up my commandments with thee; So as to incline thine ear unto wisdom, And apply thy heart to understanding; Yea, if thou cry after discernment, And lift up thy voice for understanding; read more.
If thou seek her as silver, And search for her as for hid treasures: Then shalt thou understand the fear of Jehovah, And find the knowledge of God. For Jehovah giveth wisdom; Out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding: He layeth up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to them that walk in integrity; That he may guard the paths of justice, And preserve the way of his saints. For ever, O Jehovah, Thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: Thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. They abide this day according to thine ordinances; For all things are thy servants. read more.
Unless thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction. I will never forget thy precepts; For with them thou hast quickened me. I am thine, save me; For I have sought thy precepts. The wicked have waited for me, to destroy me; But I will consider thy testimonies. MEM. I have seen an end of all perfection; But thy commandment is exceeding broad. Oh how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day. Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies; For they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers; For thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the aged, Because I have kept thy precepts.
