Afflicted saints » Should praise God
But as for me, I have trusted in your steadfast love. My heart will rejoice in your deliverance.
You have kept count of my wonderings. Put my tears in your bottle; [are they] not in your book? Then my enemies will turn back {when} I call. This I know because God [is] for me. God, [whose] word I praise, Yahweh, [whose] word I praise,
They have set a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down. They have dug a pit before me; they have fallen into the midst of it. Selah
You who have caused me to see many troubles and evils, you will again revive me. And from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. You will increase my greatness, and you will comfort me all around. On my part, I will praise you with a stringed instrument, [and] your faithfulness, O my God. Rejoice » Who rejoices
[The] righteous will rejoice when he sees [the] vengeance; he will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked. And people will say, "Surely [there is] a {reward} for the righteous. Surely there is a God [who] judges in the land."
The father of the righteous will surely rejoice; he who bears a wise person will be happy with him.
Blessed [are] the people who know [the] joyful shout; O Yahweh, they walk about in the light of your countenance. In your name they rejoice all the day, and in your righteousness they rise up.
But as for me, I have trusted in your steadfast love. My heart will rejoice in your deliverance. I will sing to Yahweh because he has dealt bountifully with me.
Our soul waits for Yahweh; he [is] our help and our shield. For in him our heart rejoices because in his holy name we trust.
