'Steadfast' in the Bible
I myself will be a father to him, and he himself will be a son to me. And I will not remove my steadfast love from him as I took it away from whoever was before you.
Then Solomon said to God, "You yourself have shown steadfast loyal love to David my father and have made me king in his place.
{But as for me}, through the abundance of your steadfast love I will enter your house. I will bow down toward {your holy temple} in awe [of] you.
Turn, O Yahweh; deliver my life. Save me for the sake of your steadfast love.
But as for me, I have trusted in your steadfast love. My heart will rejoice in your deliverance.
Because the king trusts Yahweh, and through the steadfast love of the Most High he shall not be moved.
Create a clean heart for me, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit {within me}.
My heart [is] steadfast, O God; My heart [is] steadfast. I will sing and give praise.
For their heart was not steadfast with him, nor were they faithful to his covenant.

So then, my dear brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, [because you] know that your labor is not [in] vain in the Lord.
