But let all who take refuge in You rejoice;
let them shout for joy forever.
May You shelter them,
and may those who love Your name boast about You.

Listen closely to me; rescue me quickly.
Be a rock of refuge for me,
a mountain fortress to save me.

Like hovering birds,
so the Lord of Hosts will protect Jerusalem
by protecting it, He will rescue it,
by sparing it, He will deliver it.

I will defend this city and rescue it
because of Me
and because of My servant David.”

So all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouts, the sound of the ram’s horn, trumpets, and cymbals, and the playing of harps and lyres.

But one of them, seeing that he was healed, returned and, with a loud voice, gave glory to God.

Cry out and sing, citizen of Zion,
for the Holy One of Israel is among you
in His greatness.”

They sang with praise and thanksgiving to the Lord: "For He is good; His faithful love to Israel endures forever." But many of the older priests, Levites, and family leaders, who had seen the first temple, wept loudly when they saw the foundation of this house, but many [others] shouted joyfully. The people could not distinguish the sound of the joyful shouting from that of the weeping, because the people were shouting so loudly. And the sound was heard far away.

Then they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their ancestors with all their mind and all their heart. Whoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel would be put to death, young or old, man or woman. They took an oath to the Lord in a loud voice, with shouting, with trumpets, and with rams' horns.

Now He came near the path down the Mount of Olives, and the whole crowd of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the miracles they had seen: Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord. I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them say: Blessing and honor and glory and dominion to the One seated on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever! The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped.
