'Protect' in the Bible

“I am going to send an angel before you to protect you on the way and bring you to the place I have prepared.

May Yahweh bless you and protect you;

The assembly is to protect the one who kills someone from the hand of the avenger of blood. Then the assembly will return him to the city of refuge he fled to, and he must live there until the death of the high priest who was anointed with the holy oil.

For the Lord your God walks throughout your camp to protect you and deliver your enemies to you; so your encampments must be holy. He must not see anything improper among you or He will turn away from you.

Protect me from the trap they have set for me,and from the snares of evildoers.

so that He may guard the paths of justiceand protect the way of His loyal followers.

They will protect you from an evil woman,from the flattering tongue of a stranger.

Keep my commands and live;protect my teachingsas the pupil of your eye.

The proud speech of a fool brings a rod of discipline,but the lips of the wise protect them.

If you see oppression of the poor and perversion of justice and righteousness in the province, don’t be astonished at the situation, because one official protects another official, and higher officials protect them.

Like hovering birds,so the Lord of Hosts will protect Jerusalem—by protecting it, He will rescue it,by sparing it, He will deliver it.

In the first year of Darius the Mede, I stood up to strengthen and protect him.
