Oh let me hear of joy and gladness, that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
As for me, I am poor and in heaviness; let thy help defend me, O God.
O satisfy us with thy mercy, and that soon: so shall we rejoice and be glad all the days of our life. Comfort us again, now after the time that thou hast plagued us, and for the years wherein we have suffered adversity.

And this is the cause that equity is so far from us, and that righteousness cometh not nigh us. We look for light, lo, it is darkness; for the morning shine, see, we walk in the dark. We grope like the blind upon the wall, we grope even as one that hath none eyes. We stumble at the noonday, as though it were toward night; in the falling places, like men that are half dead. Unto the pure, are all things pure: but unto them that are defiled, and unbelieving, is nothing pure: but even the very minds and consciences of them are defiled.
