Thou number my wanderings. Put thou my tears into thy bottle. Are they not in thy book? Then shall my enemies turn back in the day that I call. This I know, that God is for me. In God I will praise [his] word. In LORD I will praise [his] word.

Thou, who have shown us many and great troubles, will revive us again, and will bring us up again from the depths of the earth.

But we ourselves have had the sentence of death in ourselves, so that we should not be trusting in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead.

The cords of death encompassed me, and the pains of Sheol got hold upon me. I found trouble and sorrow.

We looked for peace, but no good came, for a time of healing, and, behold, dismay!
