{Of Solomon} Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son. Then shall he judge thy people according unto right, and defend the poor. The mountains also shall bring peace, and the little hills righteousness unto the people. read more.
He shall keep the simple folk by their right, defend the children of the poor, and punish the wrongdoer. Thou shalt be feared as long as the sun and moon endureth, from one generation to another. He shall come down like the rain into a fleece of wool, even as the drops that water the earth. In his time shall the righteous flourish, yea, and abundance of peace, so long as the moon endureth. His dominion shall be from the one sea to the other, and from the flood unto the world's end. They that dwell in the wilderness shall kneel before him, and his enemies shall lick the dust. The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall give presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall bring gifts. All kings shall fall down before him; all nations shall do him service. For he shall deliver the poor when he crieth, and the needy that hath no help. He shall be favorable to the simple and poor; he shall preserve the souls of such as be in adversity. He shall deliver their souls from extortion and wrong, and dear shall their blood be in his sight. He shall live, and unto him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer shall be made ever unto him, and daily shall he be praised. There shall be a heap of corn in the earth, high upon the hills; his fruit shall shake like Lebanon, and shall be green in the city like grass upon the earth. His name shall endure forever; his name shall remain under the sun among the posterities, which shall be blessed in him. And all the heathen shall praise him.

The burden of Tyre. Mourn, ye ships of Tarshish, for there cometh such destruction that ye shall not have a house to enter into. Out of the land of Chittim they have knowledge of this plague. Be ashamed, thou Sidon, for the sea - even the strength of the sea - hath spoken, saying: "I have not traveled, nor brought forth children, nor nourished up young men, or brought up virgins." As soon as Egypt perceiveth it, she will be as sorry as Tyre itself. Get you to Tarshish; mourn ye that dwell in the Isles. Is not that the glorious city, which hath been of long antiquity? Whose natives dwelling far off, commend her so greatly? Who hath devised such things upon Tyre the crown of all cities, whose merchants and Captains were the highest and principal of the world? Even the LORD of Hosts hath devised it, that he may put down all pomp, and minish all the Glory of the world. Go through thy land, O thou daughter of the sea, as men go over the water; for thou hast no more strength. He that smote the kingdoms together holdeth out his hand over the sea: even the LORD himself hat given a commandment against that mighty Canaan, to root it out. And he said, "From hence forth shalt thou make no more mirth, O thou daughter of Sidon: for thou shalt be put down. Stand up therefore, and get thee over unto Chittim, where nevertheless thou shalt have no rest. Behold, for thine example: The Chaldeans were such a people, that no man was like them, Assyria builded them: he set up his castles and palaces, and broke them down again. Mourn, ye ships of Tarshish, for your power shall be thrown down.
