My soul is also greatly troubled: but you, O LORD, how long?

[To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.] How long will you forget me, O LORD? forever? how long will you hide your face from me?

Lord, how long will you look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my precious life from the lions.

How long, LORD? will you be angry forever? shall your jealousy burn like fire?

O LORD God of hosts, how long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?

How long, LORD? will you hide yourself forever? shall your anger burn like fire?

Return, O LORD, how long? and may you have compassion concerning your servants.

LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

O LORD, how long shall I cry, and you will not hear! even cry out unto you of violence, and you will not save!

Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long will you not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which you have had indignation these threescore and ten years?

How long, LORD? will you be angry forever? shall your jealousy burn like fire?

The dead bodies of your servants have they given to be food unto the fowls of heaven, the flesh of your saints unto the beasts of the earth. Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them. read more.
We have become a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us. How long, LORD? will you be angry forever? shall your jealousy burn like fire? Pour out your wrath upon the nations that have not known you, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon your name. For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place.

Because you have had a perpetual hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity came to an end: Therefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, I will prepare you unto blood, and blood shall pursue you: since you have not hated blood, even blood shall pursue you.
