And the mixed multitude that was among them had a strong craving: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic: But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, besides this manna, before our eyes.

And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness: And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for you have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.

And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your harlotries, until your carcasses are consumed in the wilderness.

And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, who shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what has become of him.

Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. Their soul abhors all manner of food; and they draw near unto the gates of death.

For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, who lifts up the waves thereof. They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.

As a servant earnestly desires the shadow, and as a hireling looks for the reward of his work:

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

I know your works, and your labor, and your patience, and how you can not bear them who are evil: and you have tried them who say they are apostles, and are not, and have found them liars: And have endured, and have patience, and for my name's sake have labored, and have not fainted.

And there was a great famine in Samaria: and, behold, they besieged it, until a donkey's head was sold for fourscore pieces of silver, and the fourth part of a kab of dove's dung for five pieces of silver.

And the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.

Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.

Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the harsh.

When I lie down, I say, When shall I arise, and the night be gone? and I am full of tossings to and fro unto the dawning of the day.

My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.

For consider him that endured such hostility of sinners against himself, lest you be wearied and faint in your minds.

A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dripping.

A continual dripping on a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.

Can that which is tasteless be eaten without salt? or is there any taste in the white of an egg?

Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man.
