Then the apostles came back and told Jesus what they had done. And he took them and quietly retired to a town called Bethsaida.
After he had dismissed them he went up the hill by himself to pray. And when evening came on he was there alone,
Jesus left that place and went along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, and went up on the hillside and sat down there.
Six days after this, Jesus took Peter and James and his brother John, and led them up on a high mountain, by themselves.
When Jesus was about to go up to Jerusalem, he took the Twelve off by themselves, and said to them as they were on the way,
And he said to them, "Come away by yourselves to some quiet place, and rest a little while." For people were coming and going in large numbers, and they had no time even for meals.
He left that place and went to the neighborhood of Tyre and Sidon. And he went into a certain house, and wanted no one to know of it. And he could not keep it secret,
And he withdrew about a stone's throw from them, and kneeling down he prayed
