And the angel, whom I saw standing on the sea and on the earth, lifted up his hand toward heaven, and swore by him that lives for ever and ever, who created the heaven, and those things which are in it; and the sea, and the things which are in it; and the earth, and the things which are in it; that there should be no longer delay.

And the second angel sounded; and it was as if a great mountain, burning with fire, was cast into the sea; and a third part of the creatures which had life in the sea, died; and a third part of the ships were destroyed.

And I went to the angel, and said to him, Give me the little book. And he said to me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall embitter your stomach, but in your mouth it shall be as sweet as honey. And I took the little book out of the hand of the angel, and eat it up; and in my mouth it was sweet as honey, but when I had eaten it, my stomach was bitter.
