For who has known the mind of the Lord? who became his counsellor? Verse ConceptsGod, Human Descriptions OfGod's ThoughtsKnowing God's CharacterThe MindThoughts

For who has known the mind of the Lord? who became his counsellor? or who has given unto him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? Because of Him, and through him, and unto him, are all things: to him be glory forever: amen.

O the depth of the riches of the wisdom of the knowledge of God! His judgments are unsearchable, and his ways past tracing out. For who has known the mind of the Lord? who became his counsellor?

But God has revealed them to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who of men knows the things of man, except the spirit of the man which is in him? so indeed no one knows the things of God, except the Spirit of God.

But we speak wisdom among the perfect: not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nought: but we speak the wisdom of God having been hidden in a mystery, which God predestinated before the ages unto our glory: which no one of the princes of this age knew; for if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Where is the wise man? where is the scribe? where is the investigator of this age? has not God rendered the wisdom of the world foolishness? For since in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, God was pleased through the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe. Since indeed the Jews ask for miracles, and the Greeks seek after wisdom; read more.
but we preach Christ having been crucified, to the Jews indeed a stumbling block, and to the Gentiles foolishness; but to you who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

O the depth of the riches of the wisdom of the knowledge of God! His judgments are unsearchable, and his ways past tracing out. For who has known the mind of the Lord? who became his counsellor? or who has given unto him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? read more.
