My soul shall make her boast in Jehovah: The meek shall hear thereof, and be glad.

In God have we made our boast all the day long, And we will give thanks unto thy name for ever. Selah

In Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he hath understanding, and knoweth me, that I am Jehovah who exerciseth lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith Jehovah.

But if thou bearest the name of a Jew, and restest upon the law, and gloriest in God,


But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.



If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no excuse for their sin.

As a dog that returneth to his vomit,'so is a fool that repeateth his folly.



Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye would have no sin: but now ye say, We see: your sin remaineth.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins,

And that servant, who knew his lord's will, and made not ready, nor did according to his will, shall be beaten with many'stripes ; but he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few'stripes . But if thou bearest the name of a Jew, and restest upon the law, and gloriest in God, and knowest his will, and approvest the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law, and art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them that are in darkness, read more.
a corrector of the foolish, a teacher of babes, having in the law the form of knowledge and of the truth; thou therefore that teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou rob temples? thou who gloriest in the law, through thy transgression of the law dishonorest thou God?

For it were better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered unto them. It has happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog turning to his own vomit again, and the sow that had washed to wallowing in the mire.
