Grace » Not to be abused
And [why] not (as we are slandered, and as some affirm that we say), "Let us do evil, in order that good may come [of it]? Their condemnation is just!
What therefore shall we say? Shall we continue in sin, in order that grace may increase?
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be!

For since through a man [came] death, also through a man [came] the resurrection of the dead.
But when the fullness of time came, God sent out his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, in order that he might redeem those under the law, in order that we might receive the adoption.
For [there is] one God and one mediator between God and human beings, the man Christ Jesus,
Therefore he was obligated to be made like his brothers in all [respects], in order that he could become a merciful and faithful high priest in the things relating to God, in order to make atonement for the sins of the people.
(I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh.) For just as you presented your members [as] slaves to immorality and lawlessness, [leading] to lawlessness, so now present your members [as] slaves to righteousness, [leading] to sanctification.

Jesus replied to them, "Truly, truly I say to you, that everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin. And the slave does not remain in the household {forever}; the son remains {forever}.
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be! Do you not know that to whomever you present yourselves [as] slaves for obedience, you are slaves to whomever you obey, whether sin, [leading] to death, or obedience, [leading] to righteousness? But thanks [be] to God that you were slaves of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart the pattern of teaching to which you were entrusted, read more.
and having been set free from sin, you became enslaved to righteousness. (I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh.)
