but I say to you, Resist not the evil man; but whosoever smites you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also; and to him who is desirous that you should be sued at the law, and to take your coat, grant your cloak also; and whosoever shall impress you to go one mile, go with him two.
Already, therefore, it is wholly a loss to you, that ye have law-suits one with another! Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded?
