(for, when gentiles who have no law do by nature the things of the law, these, having no law, are a law to themselves;
Flee fornication. Every sin which a man commits is without the body; but he that commits adultery sins against his own body.
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
yet knowing that a man is not justified by works of law, but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by works of law; because by works of law no flesh shall be justified.
Actually there is reported among you fornication, and such fornication as exists not even among the gentiles, that one of you should have his father's wife!
who, indeed, having become without feeling, delivered themselves up to lasciviousness for the working of all uncleanness with greediness.
having your conduct seemly among the gentiles; that, wherein they speak against you as evil-doers, they may, from your good works which they behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
Were you called, being a slave? care not for it; but, even if you can become free, use it rather.
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as becomes saints;
And one of the scribes, coming near, hearing them discussing together, knowing that He answered them well, asked Him, "What commandment is first of all?"
Already, therefore, it is wholly a loss to you, that ye have law-suits one with another! Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded?
