And while I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God, yea, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt-offering: The burnt-offering shall be on the hearth upon the altar all night to the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on it. And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and he shall put his linen breeches upon his flesh, and he shall take up the ashes of the fire which has consumed the burnt-offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the alta And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes outside the camp to a clean place. read more.
And the fire upon the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not go out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and he shall lay the burnt-offering in order upon it, and shall burn the fat of the peace-offerings o

And with the one lamb a tenth part [of an ephah] of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil, and the fourth part of a hin of wine for a drink-offering. And the other lamb thou shall offer at evening, and shall do thereto according to the meal-offering of the morning, and according to the drink-offering of it, for a sweet savor, an offering made by fire to LORD.

Now this is that which thou shall offer upon the altar: two lambs a year old day by day continually. The one lamb thou shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb thou shall offer at evening.

And there I will meet with the sons of Israel, and [the tent] shall be sanctified by my glory. And I will sanctify the tent of meeting, and the altar. I will also sanctify Aaron and his sons to minister to me in the priest's office.

And on the Sabbath day two he-lambs a year old without blemish, and two tenth parts [of an ephah] of fine flour for a meal-offering, mingled with oil, and the drink-offering of it. This is the burnt-offering of every Sabbath, besides the continual burnt-offering, and the drink-offering of it.
