And there were some Greeks of those who went up to Jerusalem to worship at the feast; these, therefore, came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, Sir, we wish to see Jesus. Philip went and told Andrew, and again Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus.
he first found his brother Simon, and said to him, We have found the Messiah; which is interpreted, Christ [Anointed]. He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looking at him said, You are Simon, the son of Jonas; you shall be called Cephas; which is interpreted, Peter [Rock].
