Thematic Bible: To be rendered to Christ
Thematic Bible
Service » Reluctant spiritual » To be rendered to Christ
Paul and Timothy, slaves of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
If anyone serves me, let them follow me; and where I am, there shall my servant be also; the one that serves me, will my Father honour.
not to be seen as only pleasing men, but as the slaves of the Christ, doing the will of God from within,
knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance, for ye serve the Lord Christ.
For he that is called in the Lord, being a slave, is the Lord's freeman; likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's slave.
