And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causes the curse: And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man has lain with you, and if you have not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of your husband, be you free from this bitter water that causes the curse: But if you have gone aside to another instead of your husband, and if you are defiled, and some man has lain with you beside your husband: read more.
Then the priest shall charge the woman to take an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make you a curse and an oath among your people, when the LORD does make your thigh to rot, and your belly to swell; And this water that causes the curse shall go into your bowels, to make your belly to swell, and your thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen. And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water: And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causes the curse: and the water that causes the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter. Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar: And the priest shall take a handful of the offering, even the memorial portion, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water. And when he has made her drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she was defiled, and has done a trespass against her husband, that the water that causes the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.
Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:
As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:
And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop: And he shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water: And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times: read more.
And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet:
And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.
And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and they built David a house.

They have made all your ship planks of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for you.
They gave money also unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and food, and drink, and oil, unto them of Sidon, and to them of Tyre, to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea to Joppa, according to the grant that they had from Cyrus king of Persia.
He built also the house of the forest of Lebanon; the length of it was a hundred cubits, and the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.

Then shall you take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him.
And you shall command the children of Israel, that they bring you pure beaten olive oil for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually.
Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,
They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
And wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengthens man's heart.
My head with oil you did not anoint: but this woman has anointed my feet with ointment.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.
Then shall he that offers his offering unto the LORD bring a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of flour mixed with the fourth part of a hin of oil. And the fourth part of a hin of wine for a drink offering shall you prepare with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb. Or for a ram, you shall prepare for a grain offering two tenths of an ephah of flour mixed with the third part of a hin of oil. read more.
And for a drink offering you shall offer the third part of a hin of wine, for a sweet aroma unto the LORD. And when you prepare a bullock for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice in performing a vow, or peace offerings unto the LORD: Then shall he bring with a bullock a grain offering of three tenths of an ephah of flour mixed with half a hin of oil. And you shall bring for a drink offering half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma unto the LORD.
And every grain offering, mixed with oil, and dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as much as another.
And she said, As the LORD your God lives, I have not bread, but a handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a jar: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and prepare it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
For she did not know that I gave her grain, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they prepared for Baal.
For their mother has played the harlot: she that conceived them has done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, my oil and my drink.
Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD has both purposed and done that which he spoke against the inhabitants of Babylon.
Declare you among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.
Set up the standard toward Zion: take refuge, delay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.
And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulcher, and departed.
And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulcher which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulcher.

And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head,
Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate said unto them, Behold the man!
And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe,
They encompassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

The best of them is like a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of your watchmen and your punishment comes; now shall be their perplexity.
Therefore, behold, I will hedge up your way with thorns, and make a wall, so that she shall not find her paths.
Can you put a rope in his nose? or pierce his jaw through with a hook?
