A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

And he shall have the inside of the house scraped all around, and the plaster that they scrape off they shall pour out in an unclean place outside the city.

And they cast out many demons and anointed with oil many who were sick and healed them.

and said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing.

(No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments.)

I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.

And whenever the harmful spirit from God was upon Saul, David took the lyre and played it with his hand. So Saul was refreshed and was well, and the harmful spirit departed from him.

The next day a harmful spirit from God rushed upon Saul, and he raved within his house while David was playing the lyre, as he did day by day. Saul had his spear in his hand.

For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

And they offered him wine mixed with myrrh, but he did not take it.

Give strong drink to the one who is perishing, and wine to those in bitter distress;

The LORD will strike you with the boils of Egypt, and with tumors and scabs and itch, of which you cannot be healed.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?

"For thus says the LORD: Your hurt is incurable, and your wound is grievous. There is none to uphold your cause, no medicine for your wound, no healing for you.

A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed.

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there. But the meek shall inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace.

Because the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and to give up your enemies before you, therefore your camp must be holy, so that he may not see anything indecent among you and turn away from you

Suddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken; wail for her! Take balm for her pain; perhaps she may be healed. We would have healed Babylon, but she was not healed. Forsake her, and let us go each to his own country, for her judgment has reached up to heaven and has been lifted up even to the skies.
